Dennis and Nancy moved from Estes Park, Colorado and built this small home with studio and picture framing workshop in Wallowa, Oregon in 2015. Dennis frames his own paintings and prints and also does affordable framing for the people in Wallowa. Along with his professional career as an Architect and masonry contractor he has studied life drawing, anatomy, oil painting, watercolor painting along with stone and bronze sculpting. Dennis has continued to work in several mediums and brings the discipline of his architectural and masonry construction into his artwork. The challenge and sense of discovery continues as he paints along the ranch roads, mountains and streams, painting away, where the eagles fly
"Painting the scenes you Love" has been Dennis' banner for many years and allows for you to pick the special subject of a size, medium, price and colors to complement your decor. The painting can be done on site, from your photos or mine. Photos of existing decor is also helpful to complement the your home or office. You may want a special painting and desire my suggestions. Several homestead paintings have been done from old photos, sketches, letters and memories that Dennis has converted into a painting. Progress photos are normally sent by email to clients from the concept sketches, layout and painting process up to the final painting and then framing assuring the quality of the artwork. "so much better than I hoped for."

About 20 years while working with Bronson Log Homes I designed this project for the Buckhorn Ranch (the Walter Brennan ranch). When we moved back to the county
BLH built our home that we designed.
This log cabin was designed for a local doctor 20 years ago.
When I moved back to the county I was asked to to produce drawings to improve the cabin which had been donated to Creating Memories (camp for the severley handicapped) into the main lodge. I also prepared a few brochure watercolors and site info plan for fund raising and brochures.
