Lynda a director of a cultural arts center was very busy at a function for kids at a local high school. The directors talked her into posing for a quick sketch. She was up and down like a yo-yo in her typical “take care of business nature” but we still got a 16×20 portrait in one and one half hour of sittings. It was fun and it is interesting that her pose showed some kind of relaxed mode.
In November of 2007 I started a program of wanting to increase my skill at doing quick expressionistic alla prima paintings. Wendy and her sister posed for these quick paintings. It has been good practice to let it develop.
