Nick and Bud are brothers that pull a wonderful carriage in Estes Park, CO. I enjoy visiting them in their pasture. I think my grandson Damon would love seeing them and feeding them an apple.

I actually went to Napa Valley to find scenes suitable for the owner. The sky opened up early one morning after several misty days as I pulled into a vineyard. A photographer was just setting up his tripod and he and I went nuts shooting photos of a spectacular opportunity.
54×42 Oil Painting
My trips to the Tetons and Yellowstone are always rewarding. A couple, now friends, wanted a larger version of smaller painting, customized for them.
24×36 Oil Painting
The M & M connection wanted the Mary’s Lake view from their deck. We have spent many hours on their deck enjoying the views, barbeque and dominos with many friends. It was a pleasure to paint this 30×20 oil painting.l
This commission was done for my friend and collector. The goal was to get a picture of Longs Peak from his side door. Mission accomplished with this 16×24 oil painting.
I have painted many commissions over the years and continue to do so. I paint from life and in addition will use my photos for reference. A small study is sometimes produced before proceeding with a large painting.![]()
I enjoy working on large canvases like this 54×42 vineyard painting. I actually went to Napa Valley to find scenes suitable for the owner based on what I knew about their home and preferences. If you have an idea for a painting, lets discuss it.
Here is how my commission painting procedure works:
1.Artist & client agree on a subject, completion time and price.
2.The artist agreement is simple. The artist will paint the subject matter desired by the client in a way that best expresses the best of the artist. The artist will only agree to paint the subject matter that is esthetically and morally suitable to the artist.
3. If the client does not like the painting, the artist retains the right to the painting.
